McCormick Joins Former Dept. of Ed Sec Betsy DeVos for Moms for Liberty Fireside Chat

NAZARETH, PA. — Dave McCormick, a combat veteran and Pennsylvania job creator who served in the highest levels of government, today joined former Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos in Nazareth for an event hosted by Moms for Liberty. The conversation touched on the future of girls sports, recent Title IX changes, and the state of education today. 

“As the father of six daughters, this one just resonates with me so much… The very idea that you would allow biological males [to] compete with biological females is fundamentally unfair… [It] would gut women’s sports, gut Title IX… It’s something that I would be completely opposed to as a senator from Pennsylvania [and] as a father,” said Dave McCormick.

Reminder: Bob Casey believes that concerns over biological males’ participation in female sports are “overgeneralized” and based on “unfounded assumptions.” According to the Women’s Sports Policy Working Group, there have been over 578 biological male victories in female sports.
