But the ongoing Democrat shutdown over DHS funding is directly hurting this work and
25 days into a Democrat DHS shutdown, and their refusal to negotiate is just baffling.
They’re blocking DHS funding to force ICE reforms—even though reforms to ICE are already in the bill they’re blocking—while security threats to our homeland are rising across the country.
4+ hour lines at @TSA. Flights missed. Travel chaos.
Why? Democrats are playing political games with DHS funding.
This shutdown isn’t hitting ICE. It’s hitting TSA, CISA, and FEMA while threats to our homeland rise.
In my first year serving Pennsylvania in the Senate, I worked across the aisle to deliver results, drive historic investment, and strengthen American energy.
