McCormick Accepts Two Debate Invitations, Intends to Participate in Others Throughout the Commonwealth
PITTSBURGH, PA. — Dave McCormick, a seventh generation Pennsylvanian, combat veteran and PA job creator who served in the highest levels of government, today agreed to debate Bob Casey in the Harrisburg and Pittsburgh media markets before the end of September.
He also hopes to face off against Casey in the Erie, Johnstown-Altoona, Wilkes Barre-Scranton, and Philadelphia markets.
McCormick has accepted invitations to the following debates thus far:
- ABC27/Nexstar in Harrisburg, to be moderated by Dennis Owens
- WPXI in Pittsburgh, to be moderated by Lisa Sylvester
“Since day one of our campaign, I’ve promised Pennsylvanians total transparency on where I stand on the most important issues facing our commonwealth: the price of food, fuel, and housing is hurting families, Joe Biden and Bob Casey’s open borders have enabled 4,000 Pennsylvanians to die of fentanyl overdose, and their war on energy is crushing PA jobs,” said Dave McCormick.
“That’s a stark contrast with Bob Casey, who isn’t willing to stand up to Joe Biden or his Democratic Party bosses to fight for policies that help Pennsylvania. I look forward to bringing that contrast to the debate stage not just in Pennsylvania’s largest markets, but also in the extremely important Erie, Johnstown-Altoona, and Wilkes Barre-Scranton regions. I’m proud of the growing support for our movement and look forward to debating Bob Casey this fall.”
